Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA) Conducts Official Site Visit to BC AGRI-System Climate-Smart Agriculture Laboratory; Greenhouse Deployment Project Moves Toward Implementation

Biorganism Corporation and BB 88 Solutions Showcase Innovative Climate-Smart Agriculture Technologies Supporting Food Security and Sustainable Development

Manila, Philippines — June 15, 2026 — In a significant step toward advancing climate-resilient agriculture and strengthening the nation's food security initiatives, representatives from the Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA) conducted an official site visit on June 11, 2026, to the BC AGRI-System Climate-Smart Agriculture Laboratory and Greenhouse Hydroponics Pilot Project, developed by Biorganism Corporation and BB 88 Advertising and Digital Solutions Inc..

The visit marks a major milestone in the ongoing collaboration and assessment process leading to the proposed deployment of   Climate-Smart Greenhouse Units, envisioned to become one of the country's largest integrated greenhouse-based food production initiatives.

The PRA delegation was composed of  Upon arrival, the delegation was formally welcomed and guided throughout the facility

who led the site tour and provided a comprehensive presentation of the BC AGRI-System technologies, facilities, and operational framework. Supporting the visit was Joshua Kerby Sagun, Vice President for Operations with Jeam Beam Tolentino, Technology Head; Jomille Puno, AI/ML Technology Assistant Head, who facilitated project documentation, technical discussions, and stakeholder interactions during the inspection.

During the official inspection, PRA representatives were given a comprehensive overview of the technologies, innovations, and operational systems integrated within the BC AGRI-System ecosystem.

The delegation evaluated key project components including:

  • Climate-Smart Greenhouse Technology
  • Hydroponics and Controlled Environment Agriculture Systems
  • Smart Monitoring and IoT-Based Farm Management Solutions
  • Sustainable Farming and Resource-Efficient Production Systems
  • Food Security and Agricultural Innovation Programs
  • BC AGRI-System Geotagging and Asset Monitoring Technologies

The BC AGRI-System Laboratory serves as a living innovation center where advanced agricultural technologies are tested, demonstrated, and optimized to support year-round food production while minimizing environmental impact.

According to project proponents, the planned deployment of   greenhouse units represents more than a farming initiative—it is a national development strategy designed to contribute to food security, climate adaptation, agricultural modernization, job creation, and rural economic growth.

“The future of agriculture lies in innovation, sustainability, and technology. Through the BC AGRI-System, we are demonstrating how smart farming can empower communities, increase food production, and create resilient agricultural ecosystems capable of addressing the challenges of climate change,” said Henry V. Bayubay, President and Chief Executive Officer of Biorganism Corporation and BB 88 Solutions.

The project integrates precision agriculture technologies including sensor-based monitoring, geotagging systems, data analytics, automated irrigation, greenhouse environmental controls, and digital farm management platforms. These technologies enable farmers and stakeholders to monitor production in real time while improving productivity, reducing resource consumption, and enhancing crop quality.

The PRA representatives also reviewed the potential applications of the system in supporting environmental management programs, land development initiatives, urban agriculture projects, and sustainable food production strategies that align with national development goals.

Beyond agricultural productivity, the BC AGRI-System aims to inspire a new generation of Filipino farmers by demonstrating that agriculture can be technology-driven, profitable, environmentally responsible, and globally competitive.

As the Philippines continues to face challenges related to food security, climate change, and agricultural sustainability, initiatives such as the BC AGRI-System highlight the transformative role of innovation in building resilient communities and securing the nation's food future.

The successful completion of the PRA site visit further strengthens the foundation for the proposed large-scale greenhouse deployment and reinforces confidence in the project's ability to contribute to sustainable agriculture and climate-smart development nationwide.

Building the Future of Agriculture

With the planned deployment of   Climate-Smart Greenhouse Units, Biorganism Corporation and BB 88 Solutions reaffirm their commitment to advancing agricultural innovation, empowering Filipino farmers, strengthening food security, and supporting the country's vision for a sustainable and climate-resilient future.

The project further demonstrates the collaborative leadership of Miriam N. Baking, Executive Vice President of BB 88 Solutions, and Joshua Kerby Sagun, Vice President for Operations, whose active participation during the PRA site visit showcased the organization's commitment to operational excellence, stakeholder engagement, and the successful implementation of climate-smart agricultural technologies.
